Gas Compliance Certificate in Queensland
Is Your Gas Certificate Up To Date?
In Queensland, any LPG-fitted vehicle legally requires a valid LPG gas compliance certificate before it can be sold, transferred, or re-registered. Without one, you're not just non-compliant — you're exposing yourself and others to unnecessary legal and safety risk.

LPG Tank Condition & 10-Year Date Stamp
We check the manufacture and last test date stamped on each tank. If your LPG tank is at or past its 10-year re-certification date, we complete the full re-certification on-site with specialist equipment — no need to visit a workshop.

Tank Mounting & Security
All LPG tanks must be securely mounted to withstand road vibration and impact. We inspect mounting brackets, cradles, and straps for corrosion and security — a common failure point on older vehicles and aftermarket LPG conversions.

LPG Hoses & Vapour Lines
All hoses must be certified to AS 1869, routed away from heat sources and moving parts, free from cracking or perishing, and secured at correct intervals. Deteriorated hoses are the most common LPG inspection failure on Queensland roads.

Converter, Reducer & Vaporiser
We inspect the converter for leaks, correct installation, and adequate ventilation. On older LPG systems, converter deterioration is a frequent issue that creates both safety risks and poor engine performance.

LPG Fuel Selector Switch & Solenoids
Dual-fuel switching systems are checked for correct operation, secure wiring, and that the LPG solenoid closes completely when the engine is off — preventing gas flow when the vehicle is parked.

Pressure Relief Valve (PRV)
The PRV is a critical safety component that vents excess pressure to prevent tank rupture. We verify it's the correct specification, undamaged, and positioned to vent externally — not into the boot or passenger cabin.

LPG Compliance Plate
Every LPG-fitted vehicle in Queensland must display a compliance plate in the engine bay showing the system details, last inspection date, and tank re-certification date. We verify it's present, legible, and up to date — or fit a new one on-site if required.

Injector Rail & Mixer System
We inspect the injector rail or mixer for correct installation, absence of leaks, and condition of all connections. Vapour injection systems are checked for rail integrity and injector seal condition.

Other System
We also inspect all other LPG-related components required for compliance, including fittings, shut-off points, and system condition checks to ensure your vehicle meets Queensland safety requirements.

Selling Your LPG or Dual-Fuel Car
Queensland law requires a valid LPG gas certificate before any LPG-fitted car can be sold or transferred. Dual-fuel vehicles also need a current roadworthy safety certificate — both are legally required to complete the sale.
